The over 13,000-kilometer Ferrari Magic India Discovery Drive realize a great return this evening to Mumbai, exactly for the drive programme. The autos were received on the Gateway of India, that's close to the beginning point of the drive, on a grand flag-in ceremonial event.
The Magic India Discovery Drive was yet another milestone test apt for the Maranello鈥檚 mettle flagship GT unit. More than fifty journalists took turns at the wheels of the two autos along the 13 often quite difficult stages across India, taking 57 cities on the over 70-day tour. So, this kind of event isn't new to Ferrari, but, as the "China, Ferrari 15,000 Red Miles" tour of the whole China in 2005 plus the "Panamerican 20,000" tour that's from Brazil to America in 2006, were both proved extremely successful too. To celebrate this ultimate achievement of the two Prancing Horse autos, a big group of Ferrari enthusiasts came today at the Gateway of India.
Present also was an important number of journalist people to whom the President Luca di Montezemolo sent some special video message. "I want to thank all the people who made possible this event around some of the most beautiful areas of the world. The Magic India Discovery team was everywhere warmly welcomed by the Indian people that showed a great passion for Ferrari.", affimed Mr. Montezemolo. He also said that "the two 612 Scagliettis felt right at home on the Indian roads, demonstrating that Ferrari Grand Tourers not only guarantee top class performance but also absolute safety and comfort even in the most extreme conditions."
