The Electric Roadster from Tesla, waiting to be launched in November, is already a wanted model. Even if costs go upward $100,000, it already has 570 buyers who have set their deposit for this car they haven鈥檛 even tested yet. The model is to be sold solely in the US, for starters. It is assembled by Lotus Engineering in England at will be shown, for the beginning, in showrooms in LA and Northern California.
Future plans of Tesla include a sedan model called White Star, manufactured in New Mexico and costing half the price of the Roadster.
