Z4, X3 from BMW

BMW has produced the Z-series at the Spartanburg, South Carolina plant, since its introduction in 1996. The next-generation AUTO will move operation in Germany at Regensburg.

BMW wants to accommodate both X3 production and the upcoming X6, at the South Carolina plant. The X3 is now assembled in Austria. The capacity in Spartanburg is being increased from 140,000 to 200,000 units every year. BMW's largest SUV market is North America.
