Ford launches ECOnetic autos

A new range of ultra-low CO2 emitting autos, named ECOnetic, will be presented by Ford at Frankfurt Auto Show next month. To reduce overall CO2 emissions, the ECOnetic vehicles combine an ultra-efficient diesel powertrains with other exhaust filtering and fuel-saving technologies.
The European Focus hatchback will be the first car receiving the ECOnetic treatment, next year. The average fuel-mileage is 54 mpg. The model will have 108 horsepower 1.6L Duratorq TDCi engine with a standard diesel individual filter, a mix promising to deliver the best CO2 emissions.
