Chery, the Chinese carmaker, will be producing a luxury sedan. Codenamed `F11`, the sedan could arrive in 2009. However, the auto will not have the Chery name. The choices for the F11`s engine will be including a 4.2 liter V8 and a 3.0 liter V6, both designed by the engine manufacturer AVL – Austria.
Shanghai Securities News says the auto will be called Xuanyuan in China and will be in competition with BMW, Infiniti, Lexus and Audi. Chery didn’t confirm the report yet.
