The very first pictures of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class coupe, in testing, have been snapped by the spy photographers. Larger, but slightly more elegant than the outgoing auto, the new CLK and CLK convertible also, will have the base on the still-new sedan from C-class.
The refinement will be run to the chassis to make real the expectations of those more ambitious drivers of a coupe.
Anyway, the engines will come from the line-up of C-class and will be including a CLK 63 AMG (performance-oriented) and a V8 CLK 500. The auto will arrive into the dealers hands at the begging of 2009 with the drop-top version coming only a few months later. We don鈥檛 know if the convertible will have a folding metal roof or a soft top.
