Ford has announced pricing for the 2008 Focus. The entry-level Focus S Coupe will arrive in showrooms with costing $14,695 and the Focus S Sedan beginning at $14,995. The up-level Focus SE will be adding $1,000 to the cost of the Sedan and S Coupe. The range-topping SES will be standard with the Sync technology from Fords — a $395 choice on lesser models — $16,695 in coupe form and $16,995 for the Sedan variant.
The new Focus has a slight premium over the 2007 auto. There`s no coupe in the present lineup, the 3-door hatchback begins at $13,775 with sedan vehicles starting from $14,660.
Ford says the new Focus is 10% quieter, 30 pounds lighter and 3% stronger than the outgoing car. The interior will also be improved and now features ambient lighting.
