Nissan unveiled its Mixim concept vehicle at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Mixim is a compact car.com' class=a11 style='text-decoration:none' target=_blank>motor-car.com' class=a11 style='text-decoration:none' target=_blank>auto that uses a driver`s seat center-mounted, with the seats flanking both sides and with gull-wing doors. Made for the youth market, the concept features an interior layout, inspired from computers, highlighted by a LCD screen, center-mounted, displaying a virtual appearance of the front wheels that turns with steering inputs in real time.
The Mixim also is using a powertrain – all-electric. It`s powered by `Super Motor` by Nissan, the system shows two lithium-ion car.com' class=a11 style='text-decoration:none' target=_blank>motors, one for driving the front wheels and one for the rear. The system is unique because to power the left and right wheels separately, it uses two drive shafts. Nissan reports the Mixim runs at 111 mph and it can go 155 miles, between charges.
