The first pictures of Honda`s new `Global Small Hybrid` mule have been captured by the spy photographers. The designed is competing with Toyota Prius, the new Honda will be only a hybrid model promising to be more efficient in fuel and with a price smaller than Prius from Toyota. The mule is covert with Honda Airwave and Fit body panels.
There are no clear details on the powertrain, but Honda hybrid will have a base cost around $17,000 when it will rise in 2009 (as a 2010 model). Honda`s plan is to achieve annual global of 200,000 units in sales, with the United States market responsible for almost half of the sales.
The hybrid will be constructed in Japan, Suzuka.
