Honda will reveal the new Fit at the Tokyo Motor Show in October, going on sale right after.
The new Fit will be longer with 50mm and wider by 20mm providing class-leading area and will have a bright new interior.
The 2009 Fit model will feature for the first time a diesel engine, close to the 1.3 and 1.5-litre petrol engines that will be replacing the 1.2 and 1.4-litre.
