Google doesn`t believe in sales funnel

The automotive marketers believed most auto shoppers take at least half of a year to make up their minds on what model to buy. The six months shopping period is call the `sales funnel`. This is how it works: First it`s the need for a new auto recognized, after that, six-months later, someone`s driving away in a new vehicle. In the meantime, buyers do their research, line up financing, etc.

And that`s how most automotive departments of marketing and ad agencies have planned in a traditionally way their campaigns for brand building or ads getting folks into dealerships.

But Google says they`re absolutely wrong.
