The Fiat Grande Punto Abarth goes on sale officially this month in Italy, being available in Europe on other markets in the next months. Fiat has released 52 new images showing our absolute favorite hot hatch having Italian styling to spare and respectable grunt from the 150 HP engine keeping things interesting.
The Grande Punto Abarth is only the tip of the iceberg, because Fiat has spun off the whole Abarth label into its own company offering its own line with high performance hardware in the near future. The first is the Grande Punto Abarth, then the Grande Punto Abarth SS, folloed by the 500 Abarth and 500 Abarth SS, and after that we will see the Abarth line expanding with its own unique vehicles.
Four Abarth models will be revealed by the end of next year. Obviously Fiat is excited, and so should Europeans. In the U.S., however, it`s bad, because Fiat will no be selling autos in the United States anytime soon.
