Could UAW acquire GM? Felix Salmon from Seeking Alpha affirms the short answer is yes, but the probability is鈥� it won`t.
With the recent contract between UAW and GM, the carmaker will transfer about $30 billion into a health care fund and another $5 billion to $7 billion down the road. Salmon says that`s more than enough to simply buy the General outright, turning it into an employee owned company.
