The only smaller car offered by Ford in USA is the Focus; this model hasn`t been modified since 1999. At the end of this year, Ford will be selling the first redesigned variant of Focus.
`As we look to growing our brand and also getting people into the Ford brand, it`s extremely important that we`re not only in the segment but that we have a very competitive product and a set of products in that segment` said Ford`s president of the Americas – Mark Fields at a local press event.
More models from Ford`s rivals will be available. For example,
Chevrolet – has two small-car entries, the Cobalt and Aveo. Toyota presents two also, Corolla and Yaris, plus three autos for the sister brand… Scion.
