The extremely limited SLR 722 GT model was caught in tests in Nurburgring. Only 21 autos will be produced, each costing over a million euro. The 722 GT model has its inspiration in the 1955 300 SLR.
Its V8 engine is making 650 hp. The weight is only 2866 lbs, reaching a maximum speed of 209.4 mph. The 0 to 60 mph frame is made in only 3.0 seconds.
At the Nurburgring tests, the 722 GT had a time of 7:38 minutes. It seems the vehicle has some problems with the recent running brake assembly and with the transmission, because of this it couldn`t beat the SLR.
The next tests will be from 20 to 24 October.
