The iQ minicar from Toyota — shown in concept earlier 2007 at the Frankfurt Motor Show — will have a Yamaha motorcycle engine. The iQ, which could start production in 2009, will have a 1.0L engine created by the two Japanese brands. Toyota will be producing about 100,000 iQs in the first year, with 80% intended for the market Europe.
