Ford will sell Land Rover and Jaguar within two months. Just last week, Ford said it will push back the deadline for the final bids, but apparently the selling process is speeded up. In an interview gave to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Ford`s European chief – John Fleming, unveiled that the recent owner of the luxury names (Ford will sell both brands in a package deal) will be known in the next two months; the negotiations are `very advanced`.
Leading candidates include One Equity Partners, Tata and even Cerberus — the recent owners of Chrysler LLC.
