EuroNCAP tests Smart ForTwo

EuroNCAP just finished the Smart ForTwo test. The conclusion is: four out of maximum five stars in Euro NCAP`s Adult Occupant rating for protection. The Smart ForTwo doesn`t have rear seats and has not been equipped for child protection.

The front impact testing runs at 64km/h (40mph) into a deformable barrier, the side impact – 50km/h (30mph), the pole testing at 29km/h (18mph) and finally the pedestrian at 40km/h (25mph).
Smart ForTwo gained four stars for Adult Occupant and only two for pedestrian protection.
