Takeo Fakui – the Honda CEO revealed (in an interview with Autocar) that the NSX model will be introduced in 2009 at the next Japanese motor show, being badged as an Acura. Powered by a V10 5.0-litre petrol engine at the moment still in development (it wouldn`t get any help from an electric motor. 500 hp being the top output.
`The new super car is necessary for Honda. The new NSX must have speed and be easy to drive and be considerate to the environment. But it`s not a hybrid`.
The 2009 NSX – a front-engined 2+2 vehicle, having an aluminum body just like the previous model.
