Hyundai Veracruz will be sold also in Europe called IX 55. The European variant will have its power from a V6 2.2 turbo-diesel engine, costing 45,000 euros.
The Veracruz was introduced on the American market earlier in the year, competing with Lexus RX and Mazda CX-7. In Europe the target will be on potential customers of Volkswagen Touareg.
Besides Veracruz, Hyundai will launch next year Atos i10, Getz i20, a Sonata facelift named i40 and a station wagon variant of the i30.
