One Equity, Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors have submitted their ultimate bids for Ford`s Land Rover and Jaguar brands. The presumed value is between $1.5 billion and $2.2 billion. `The bids are competitive, and it will be a close call for (Ford)` said the Economic Times. Tata is the front runner in this group.
Ford will evaluate all the bids at the end of next week.
Merrill Lynch priced the brand names at $1.5 billion.
