MINI is taking under consideration building its new SUV — called the Monte — at BMW`s North Carolina plant – Spartanburg. The Monte model will run with two 1.6L gasoline engines — this includes the 175 horsepower turbo four found on the Cooper S — plus an optional diesel that could feature a new 1.4L unit.
The Monte prices are from £16,500 to £20,000. The production has been now confirmed for the end of next year.
