Even if it`s not launched yet, Lexus LF-A model has smashed hard the Porsche GT2`s Nurburgring record (so, unofficially it is true). The LF-A from Lexus has lapped the infamous Nurburgring in only 7 minutes, 24 seconds, beating Porsche GT2 with one second.
Company insiders revealed that there will be a V10 4.8-litre – co-designed with Yamaha – pushing the test mule for a breaking record. It revs up to 9,000rpm, pumping out 552bhp. It`s mixed with an extremely aerodynamic body and it should enable LF-A to reach 210mph.
