Here is a very good news for the fans of Porsche cars! The new version of the four-door Panamera model which is to be launched next year,in 2009, is almost done...on paper. The first official sketches were made public these days and here you can have a first glance at them.
The new Panamera will be besides very fast, more economic(drivers can save as much as 31 mpg).It will share its hybrid power train with the petrol/electric Cayenne hybrid which has already been revealed in prototype form.
Fans are likely to be offered a choice of power plants, most notably the V8 unit from the Cayenne SUV, while the mighty 612hp V10 from the exclu颅sive Carrera GT model is also tipped to be available. Entry-level models could also be fitted with the Cayenne's 3.2-liter V6. The newcomer will definitely represent a strong rival for the Aston Martin's Rapide.
Taking into consideration the latest hybrid technology, the Panamera will be capable to run on both electric power or petrol, or it might also combine the two sources for the ultimate performance.
No further details or features were revealed by the Porsche officials, but we can expect more than a great car to be launched next year,just like we have gotten used to by Porsche.
