Just some weeks ago, Lamborghini celebrated the record sales since now of the Murcielago model that surpassed the sales figures of the Lamborghini Diablo, the very well-known model worldwide.This shows clearly that the world of luxury cars gets bigger and bigger each year and it is truly remarkable that Murcielago's sales surpassed the ones of Diablo in just 6 years after it's first launch, in 2001. It worth adding here that the Diablo model sold 2903 pieces in 11 years, so the sales of Murcielago model are really a record for Lamborghini so far.
However, the legend of Murcielago is not all written yet. There are rumors that the Lamborghini will come out with another version of this model, Murcielago Super Veloce (SV) which means some important changes to the present version. The interior will be replaced with carbon fiber, including the doors innards, seats and center console. The drive shafts and the front differential will be removed in order to save some weight.
As a final remark, the sales for 2007 look very interesting and can not wait to see what 2008 will bring out for this masterpiece. It is worth mentioning that Lamborghini has been experiencing record sales for the entire model range, with 30% sales higher in 2006 than in 2005 (2400 vehicles).
