General Motors unveiled the Buick Riviera concept last year at the Shanghai auto show, and will show the vehicle for the first time next week at the Detroit Auto Show in North America. Designed at the GM`s Pan Asia Technical Center, the stylish auto is yet another Buick designed by the China team for GM.
The Riviera will showcase the new global design language for the Buick model, sharing similar cues in design from the Enclave SUV. The gull wing doors will probably not see production, but its porthole vents, bold fender flares and the Buick signature waterfall grille - this should make into an upcoming Buick model.
