A record 2500$ car will be released on the 10th of January by the Tata Motors, the leading automobile company in India- the so called "People's car".The top speed this car (35 hp) can reach is about 70 km/h and if you choose to drive faster you can risk the longevity of your vehicle, but nevertheless, you still remain safe.
However, the car has quite a few disadvantages which can easily explain the low price- often metal is replaced by plastic, there is no radio, cd player or air conditioned, no electric windows. Even though the Tata Motors announced a price of 2500$, the experts assume that its final cost will be above 3,000$.
Tata Motors will also present a range of new passenger vehicles, buses from the joint venture with Marcopolo of Brazil, new developed multi-axle heavy trucks, pickup vehicles, applications of panel vans and new mini-trucks.
