Porsche revealed the Cayenne Hybrid at Los Angeles Auto Show this year, and the idea was very exciting but... not anymore. The Cayenne Hybrid production will be delayed at least until 2010. `Though there is still no decision on the planned introduction date of the hybrid version of our Cayenne SUV, I鈥檓 sure we鈥檒l only introduce the new system with the start of the next SUV generation in 2010` affirmed one of the managers at Porsche.
The Panamera was also supposed to be debuted with a hybrid engine; and it has also been delayed: `We want to have time to analyze the experience with the Cayenne and, depending on what we find, launch the Panamera with hybrid drive then or perhaps as late as 2013`.
