Lexus, until now, wanted their upcoming supercar to reach a maximum speed of 330 km/h (205 mph), but if they will target superautos like Porsche, Lamborghini and Ferrari they need… more. So, this is the reason they hope that the upcoming LF-A will be hitting the high speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
In 2009 it will go on sale, running with a V10 Formula One-inspired engine delivering 509 hp (the strongest engine from Lexus). It will run from 0 to 60 mph in less than, yes it’s true, four seconds.
