Mitsubishi published today the pricing guide for the brand new 2008 Outander. Prices begin from $19,990 for Outlander ES 2WD and up to $25,110 for Outlander XLS 4WD. For the 2008 car, Mitsubishi adds two all new engines. The first one - a 2.2 Di-D, Diesel common rail featuring a top power of 156 hp - 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 280 lbs-ft - 2000 rpm. The all new engine is fitted with 6-speed manual gearbox plus an All Wheel Control system.
The next engine - a 2.4 l MIVEC, Petrol engine at a top power of 170 hp - 6000 rpm plus a peak torque of 171 lbs-ft - 4100 rpm. The engine has a 5-speed manual gearbox or a stepped Sport Mode 6-speed CVT having optional shift paddle controls and 2-wheel drive or an All Wheel Control system (according to the markets).
