Even though the Mercedes-Benz CLS is still in style and very much appreciated just as it was at its launching point in 2004, the designers decided to offer consumers a surprise by bringing new features and a new face to the vehicle. The car will have around 230 hp and changes include a diamond-shaped grille painted in atlas grey covering the lower air intake and also a modified grille, with two louvers now instead of the previous four. A new look has been given to the outside mirrors, including LED side indicator lamps styled up in the form of an arrow. The new model features a lower bumper with integrated reflectors at the rear and, which is also underlined by exhaust tailpipes, which have a trapezoidal shape and not an oval one as the previous.
The new model features 6.3 liter V8 engine with 514 hp, 19in light-alloy wheels and a new AMG sports exhaust system. Moreover, the vehicle includes the NTG 2.5 telematics system, which features a speed-sensitive volume control, a keypad for entering telephone numbers and radio frequencies, an MP3-compatible CD and DVD player, as well as a Bluetooth interface. The interior was further modified by showing of a restyled leather steering wheel in a three-spoke design with multifunction buttons and a brand new image instrument cluster.
First units will be present in auto show rooms as far as March and the pricing for such a model could reach up to 106,000 euro. I would say it鈥檚 money well spent.
