Even tough both Ford and Volvo denied it several time, seems that the rumors keep appearing and maybe there really is a cause for them. Is Ford really selling Volvo and this soon? Furthermore, the same source claims that even the price for the the Swedish car maker has been set up to 6 billion $ and the deal will be closed until the summer of 2008. This comes as a paradox after the news Ford made public last year that they are actually planning to keep Volvo and even further improve its image. Now it seems that none of these plans are valid anymore and that Ford wants to set the business of selling Volvo as soon as possible.
The Business magazine, which stated this news, also claims that very soon after the deal with Jaguar and Land Rover will be finalized and passed on to Indian car maker Tata in upcoming weeks, Ford will get to the next step of taking Volvo out for auction. Second source stated that 鈥渟ooner or later a serious decision will be made and Ford will get out of Volvo.鈥�
