Latest rumors say that the new Ford Focus 2010 generation is preparing to take over long-waited vehicles like Audi A3, Saab 9-1 and BMW 1-Series- we can not say yet if this would be the case, but it seems that the new model from Ford will be better and stronger in all ways, bringing quality, style and driving satisfaction to its drivers. The looks are entirely redesigned, the car looks sleeker, more spacious and they promise you a thrilling driving experience.
The vehicle will have a longer wheelbase which creates more space on the inside. Latest technology will be available, such as Sat-nav is set to feature as standard, along with Bluetooth phone connectivity and Internet access. The variants will have keyless entry and starting as well. Verve Concept is said to have inspired the front-end design, including swept-back LED headlamps, a small upper grille and a larger lower air intake. Further design highlight is put on the panoramic windscreen which makes the cabin lighter and, at the rear, the rakish tailgate gets L-shaped lights as well as a neat roof spoiler.
The model will feature a stop-start system, which switches the engine off when stationary in traffic, to cut CO2 output. Furthermore, the normally aspirated petrol engines will be replaced by new small turbocharged units. The diesel range is to be up rated and carried over. A 2.5 liter five-cylinder turbo engine will deliver 260 hp to the ST version.
