Production Camaro not a reality this year

General Motors announced the Camaro will not be presented to an important show this year. The revealing dates for making the Camaro coupe are 2009 February 16th, while the convertible Camaro will hit the streets on 2009 December 7th.
Camaro Coupe was revealed two years ago as a Concept and the Convertible variant was debuted last year. Now the firm fears that the Camaro`s production will lose appeal until then. But the brand wants smaller markets, for example Philadelphia and Cleveland, getting their peek at local auto shows.
Chevrolet also announced that the Chevy Corvette ZR1 2009 will go in June into limited production. It`s a 600-plus-hp rocket, carrying a six-figure base cost. `People who love cars are the same people who love Camaro, and they will love to ogle the ZR1 `Vette` said Terry Rhadigan, Chevy spokesman.
