BMW is working now on a new model and it will be placed somewhere between the 5 Series wagon and the X6 SUV 2009. As you know for sure by now, this brand new auto is the PAS (Progressive Activity Sedan) and it will be unveiled in 2009.
The PAS model is based on the all new BMW 5 Series platform and it will be powered by a six-cylinder 3.0-liter engine making 272 horsepower, and possibly an upcoming direct-injection V8 that`s delivers 420 hp.
If you`ll compare it to the 5-Series you`ll see a higher driving position and more passenger space plus a much larger boot, that`s accessed by a big hatchback.
