In this early fase, before the next week鈥檚 Chicago Auto Show, there have been revealed by some sources the very first shots of the Mitsubischi Eclipse, which suffered a light model facelift for the 2009 version. The car has a new design which is actually reminding of the Lancer Evolution model. For the moment, there are just some inprecise photos of the model available, but as soon as there more specific shots leaked, you will be for sure announced.
Among the changes brought to the design of the new Mitsubischi version it is worth mentioning that the front has been augmented by a blacked-out trapezoidal grille/air intake and the rear now has a black insert on the lower part of the rear apron. The V6 engine can deliver 265 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque and customers can choose between a six-speed automatic or a five-speed manual. The standard variant comes with electronic brakeforce distribution as part of the ABS system, which helps keep the vehicle under control during heavy braking and, moreover, the GT model includes stability control, HID headlights, larger rear disc brakes and a new spoiler.
