The very much-awaited 2008 Buick Lucerne Super鈥檚 price was finnaly made public and it seems that the manufacturer鈥檚 suggestion for the entry-luxury sedan is of 39,395$ which also includes the 765$ destination freight charge. It will be available in dealer showrooms starting April.
The new model features some exclusive standard contents targeting safety, performance and powertrain enhancements. The exterior was subject to a change and improvment by bringing new chrome waterfall grille, front and rear fascias, rocker panels and dual chrome exhaust tips. The interior got a leather-wrapped instrument panel; suede trim on the doors and seats; heated real walnut wood steering wheel and shifter; a Nova-silver center stack finish; six-disc, in-dash CD changer with MP3 capability; floor mats embroidered with the Buick name and tri-shield emblem and some other that for sure are matching the high Buick standards.
The new Buick Lucerne also features increased horsepower (292 hp), enhanced chassis tuning, steering precision and a 288 lb.-ft. of torque. Premium steering components give the vehicle improved steering precision and responsiveness and the launch-acceleration and vehicle-passing capabilities were improved due to the additional power of the engine. In addition to the Super trim, Lucerne is also available in CX (MSRP of $27,520) and CXL (MSRP of $30,165) models. Lucerne versions are all built at GM鈥檚 Detroit-Hamtramck manufacturing facility and come with the industry鈥檚 best coverage, including a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and four-year/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper protection.
