A new roadster that would run on natural gas only launch is the near future plan of the european companies BRA and PGO Automobiles. The car will enter production line only if there would be enough demands of the vehicle which can be seen at next month鈥檚 Geneva Motor Show, when orders can also be made. The final price seems to be around 70,000 dollars for which one could get the basic car complete with a 1.6L turbocharged engine and six-speed manual.
The vehicle鈥檚 compressed natural gas storage holds 132 liters of fuel which is actually enough for a 280 miles trip. The combined cycle fuel consumption is 35mpg and its CO2 emissions are at the low value of 118g/km; however, the car can also run on biogas, which means it will be CO2-neutral. Regarding the engine of the little vehicle, the four-cylinder engine delivers a peak output of 150hp at 5,600rpm and 155lb-ft of torque at 2,300rpm; it features a compression ratio of 11:1 and C茅vennes鈥檚 top speed will be of 130 mph and it can hit 0-60mph in about 6.5 seconds.
