Mercedes has just made public the first photographes of the newvly and very-much expected top-of-the-line SL65 model. The vehicle it powered by a very strong motor and also the exterior of the car has been majorly improved, so for sure the new SL65 will be just as the Mercedes fans expected. There are no details made public so far, but it is a known thing that SL65 AMG will be powered by an engine exactly like the one used for the previous generation, a twin-turbo V12 generating 612hp and a mind-bending 1,000Nm of torque.
Even though the SL63 model uses a new SpeedShift MCT transmission, on the latest tests the SL65 AMG made so much torque that most probably Mercedes will use a different transmission from the rest of the line. Improvements on the design include new aero body work, special side vents (most probably for a more efficient cooling of the brakes and under-hood elements), improved tweaks and darkened bi-xenon headlights so to make sure that AMGs will impress the eye when first seen.
