Specter Werkes made the announcement of the brand new C6-based Corvette GTR - the successor of the limited-edition GTR C5 program that helped build the firm`s reputation of Corvette`s performance and styling specialist for past a decade.
Retaining Corvette`s intrinsic character, the GTR model enhances its performance, appearance and luxury quotient. It`s available on all the C6 Corvette units, including the basic coupe and convertible, Z06 and even the upcoming ZR1.
`The GTR is the Corvette for enthusiasts who want an exclusive, distinctive automobile` said Jeff Nowicki, the president and founder of Specter Werkes/Sports. `It`s an uncompromising combination of great looks and racetrack-capable performance.`
Featuring the use of the exposed carbon fiber exterior details, the GTR wrap includes:
a unique GTR bodywork: front fascia, extractor hood, carbon fiber splitter, front fenders, rocker panels, doors, rear fenders, carbon fiber rear diffuser, rear fascia, paint, assembly and Cleartastic paint protection.
The Corvette GTR wrap carries a base cost of $34,995, having a variety of high-performance power train settings available for additional money. Production is expected to start this spring, with each car hand-built, numbered and completely documented for the buyer.
