Alfa Romeo will reveal at the Geneva Motor Show the 1.9 JTDM GT Blackline III, a model powered by 1.9 JTDM engine developing 170 hp at 3.750 rpm and 330 Nm (33,6 Kgm) with a torque at 2.000 rpm. It makes the sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 8.2 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 216 km/h.
Alfa GT Blackline III has 18`` alloy wheels, satined effect for mirrors, double chromed exhaust, grills and whiskers. Even on the inside this Alfa GT Serie Speciale `Blackline III` unveils a sporty charisma, as you can see on the sporty pedals with aluminium and serigraphed kick-panel. Plus, the black tones fully characterize the black leather seats having a central perforated insert and the Alfa Romeo logo on the headrest, plus the steering wheel and the display panel in leather.
In addition, the unit on display is differentiated by the Q2 (front self-locking Torsen庐) system, which has the merits of front-wheel traction, like heightening the driving ease, pleasure and guaranteed advantages typical for the integrated traction. In detail, this system is fitted to JTDM featuring 170 CV, so benefiting of the extraordinary weight/power ratio, thanks to using the Common Rail technology. The benefit is due also to the predominant role of the diesel motorizations in the sport engines field. The `Q2` system mixes perfectly the torque specifications with the power of the 1.9 JTDM rising yet further the already superb performance levels of an auto with a normal differential.
This is how it all works. The `Q2` system has the base on a limited slip differential - mechanical Torsen type. So, in particular, this differential is distributing permanently the torque between the front wheels dynamically, depending on the road surface and driving conditions. Mated to this exclusive front wishbone suspension, it makes the system to allow a particularly vehicle efficient tuning.
