When RENNTECH and RML made the announcement that the fearsome SLR McLaren 722GT Mercedes-Benz track auto would be available in the United States back in December, the two firms made reference to a one-make series for ultra-exclusive vehicles modeled on the SLR.Club`s European SLR.UNLIMITED shows.
RENNTECH posted this morning a full PDF brochure about their 722GT mini-site that`s offering more details on the events while going into even more details about the auto itself, with an addition of technical specs and some exciting photos fromtrackday events 722GT at the Nurburgring and Paul Ricard.
SLR.Club USA Trophy events promise some 5-star accommodations and the chance for owners to be driving the amazing 680 hp, 2900 lb.
722 GT SLR McLaren
autos at speed on some of the historic race tracks of the country. Events will include also driver training from the world-class drivers (and the SLR.Club members) such as David Coulthard and Jochen Mass, and some `special guests` which will be announced later.
The SLR.Club USA Trophy events will be taking place in 2009. The schedules and all the dates will be announced in the fall, this year.
