Koenigsegg will be showing off the CCX and CCXR Edition at the Motor Show in Geneva. The cost for the CCX Edition begins at 1,330,000 Euros net, while the CCXR Edition price starts at 1,500,000 Euros net.
The Edition is the final supercar – a most extreme of the Koenigsegg - made to break records and to deliver some breathtaking performance. Just a very few units will be made, to ensure the exclusive status amongst the supercar buyers.
It has a fully visible, clear carbon fiber body, and it’s available in two variant: 4.8 litre 888bhp CCX Edition and CCXR Edition, which you can drive it on environmentally friendly E85 ethanol and E100 fuels, as well as normal petrol. When run on the E85 fuel the 4.8 liter engine makes 1018 bhp.
The Edition has high performance specially created rear wing, a bigger front splitter and side front strakes. So the aerodynamics have been well verified and optimized in CFD and in the real life on the Koenigsegg testing track in Sweden and on some European various proving grounds, to achieve the highest downforce. Together with lower ride height, changed shock absorbers, modified springs plus anti roll bars, it makes the auto perfect for both serious track fun and the winding country roads. There’s also the option of the Michelin Cup tires and paddle-shift if you desired.
Prices for CCX Edition begin at 1,330,000 Euros net.
Prices for CCXR Edition begin at 1,500,000 Euros net.
Both autos come with a five-year plant warranty.
