Subaru announced today the pricing for the brand new Forester 2009 that made its world debut at the Auto Show in Detroit. The SUV begins from $19,995, with a $1200 decrease comparing with the previous unit.
The naturally aspirated vehicle is available now in three trim levels: X, 2.5X L.L. Bean (L.L. Bean equipped with only automatic transmission) and 2.5X Premium Package. The 2.5XT turbocharged unit is available in basic X trim or as Forester 2.5XT Limited vehicle.
The 2.5X costs $19,995; the 2.5X Premium Package, having manual transmission, has the starting cost of $22,495; the 2.5X L.L.Bean Edition - standard automatic transmission begins at $25,995 and the 2.5XT unit starts at $26,195 and has a 2.5-liter, turbocharged engine producing 224 HP.
The 2.5X one, equipped with the manual transmission, will have a beginning price of $19,995 (before D&D) – with $1,200 cost decrease if we compare it to the 2008MY.
An All Weather Package - an available option (at $400) on Premium Package, and is basic on the L.L.Bean & XT Limited. The Satellite Navigation is also optional (with $1,800) on the L.L. Bean and the XT Limited units.
