After many rumors, now Alfa Romeo made official today the Mi.To 2009. First it had the presumed name Junior, then… Furiosa, and now the small hatchback got to be called Mi.To. The Alfa Mi.To will be debuted to the international press in June and then will be gradually presented from July in all important markets.
This name… Mi.To has amazing evocative resonance for the Alfa Romeo, since this was chosen as sign of the deep-seated link that’s between the brands’s past and future: between Milan, which is the city of design that really brought the auto’s style into existing, and Turin, the city that will be responsible for the industrial production. That’s a decision for highlighting the brand’s powerful desire to be consolidating its roots in Milan.
The greatest idea has gone also into defining the sizes, which’s adding up to a compact, dynamic shape: the Mi.To unit is 4.06 meters long, 1.44 meters high and 1.72 meters wide.
Great performances are now guaranteed by a 4 engines range, all Turbo (both petrol and diesel), that present range from 90 hp to 155 hp, having the range even higher on power ratings.
