A Chinese man goes into a New York City bank and asks for a loan officer. He tells him that he`s going to China for two weeks on business and needs a $5,000 loan. The bank officer said that the bank needs some security form for this loan, so the Chinese man gives the officer the keys of his brand new Ferrari parked right on the street in front of the respective bank. He produces the title, everything checks out.
The loan officer then agrees to accept the auto as loan collateral.
The president and the officers of the bank all enjoy a great laugh at the Chinese man for choosing to use a $250,000 Ferrari for collateral against the $5,000 loan. A bank employee then drives the amazing Ferrari into the underground garage of the bank and parks the vehicle there.
Two weeks later, our Chinese man returns and repays the $5,000 plus the interest, which is $15.41. The loan officer said: 鈥淪ir, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multi-millionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?鈥�.
The Chinese man affirmed: 鈥淲here else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?鈥�.
This just a joke circulating on the Internet. Some fuel for thought? Mmmm maybe鈥�
