Scion announced the pricing for the 2009 unit year xB urban utility vehicle and the tC sports coupe. This xB will come at dealerships later this month and the tC will be arriving in May.
After a major unit change this year, the xB carries over having only a change on exterior color. Stingray Metallic is replacing Nautical Blue Metallic. The base MSRP (for that iconic xB) is $15,750 when it鈥檚 equipped with the five-speed manual transmission plus $16,700 for a four-speed automatic having sequential shifting. For both configurations, the prices represent a raise of $100 or of 0.6 percent.
The sporty tC 2009 carries over also with one change, an updated seat fabric. The costs for both the automatic and the manual transmission remain exactly the same as the 2008 units. The tC model equipped with the five-speed manual transmission presents a base MSRP at $17,000, while that four-speed automatic transmission version carries the MSRP for $17,800.
So, the DPH (delivery, processing plus handling) fee for all Scion vehicles is $620 and isn鈥檛 included in the MSRP. The DPH fees for cars distributed by SET (Southeast Toyota) and GST (Gulf States Toyota) may very well vary.
