Ford S-MAX owners now appreciate the convenience and safety of three rows seating for seven passengers. But, for some potential Ford S-MAX clients, seven seats is too many. Ford unveils details of the S-MAX Trend five-seat that joins the S-MAX unit range for this year. Ford will debut the brand new five-seat S-MAX Trend at the Auto China 2008 in Beijing near the seven-seat S-MAX Flagship.
鈥淭he S-MAX is spacious, safe and convenient but not everyone needs seven seats. Introducing a five-seat variant to the S-MAX range makes perfect sense and illustrates Ford鈥檚 ability to provide Chinese customers with cars and features they want," said Nigel Harris, the General Manager of Changan Ford Sales Company.
The kinetic design of Ford creates an S-MAX that鈥檚 visually bold and dynamic. Its fast roof line arching in the bonnet, the muscular wheel arches plus the distinctive kick-up right to the rear window completely visually indicate that the S-MAX is really the perfect Sport Activity Vehicle.
