Porsche revealed at the Beijing Auto Show the Cayenne Turbo S 2009, the strongest Cayenne of them all. The sales will start in August 2008 at a cost of EUR 111,400.
The Cayenne Turbo S runs with a 4.8 liter V8 engine having twin turbo forced induction delivering 550 hp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 750 Nm from 2,250 rpm to 4,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a Six-speed Tiptronic S converter automatic gearbox.
It’s making the 0 to 60 mph sprint in only 4.7 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 174.0 mph.
All units of the Turbo S have some chassis which is benefiting from air suspension, suspension leveling plus ride-height control, alongside with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), which – once again as basic – is mixed with PDCC (Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control) and Servotronic speed-sensitive variable power steering.
The Porsche Cayenne Turbo S unit can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in only 4.8 seconds and its maximum speed is 280 km/h. This Turbo S will be debuted into the market from August 2008. The international basis cost is EUR 111,400.
