SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.) announced the North American release today of Gran Turismo(TM) 5 Prologue for PLAYSTATION(R)3 (PS3(TM)) exclusively. Developed by the Polyphony Digital Inc., Gran Turismo 5 Prologue鈥檚 the fifth installment of the best-selling racing franchise in the world and a powerful precursor to Gran Turismo(TM)5.
On Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, the players can drive 70 cars from top auto manufacturers including Ferrari, Ford and Nissan around six rendered courses, each having two race routes. Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is introducing various revolutionary series modes, including support for 16 players head-to-head racing online and offline, complete with race events plus leader boards to quell all the questions of who鈥檚 the best driver in this "World of GT."
